Age Limit:-

• 21-32 years as on the last date of submission of application.

METHOD OF SELECTION:-

1. Initial Screening

Before you even see an interviewer, your paperwork has to pass the test.

• Location: Conducted by the Directorate General Remount Veterinary Services.

• The Filter: They check if your documents are correct and if you meet the eligibility criteria.

• The Cut-off: Because there are usually more applicants than spots, they use a cut-off percentage based on your total marks in your BVSc/BVSc & AH degree.

• Outcome: Only shortlisted candidates are forwarded to the Recruiting Directorate.

2. SSB Interview

If you pass the screening, you move to the personality and intelligence assessment.

• Notification: You will receive specific dates and locations directly from the Directorate General of Recruiting.

• The Test: This is the standard Services Selection Board (SSB) process used to evaluate officer potential.

3. Merit List

The final stage determines who actually gets commissioned.

• Medical Fitness: You must be declared medically fit to be considered.

• The Ranking: The merit list is based entirely on your SSB marks.

• Note: Your college grades or past achievements help you get to the interview, but they do not help you on the final merit list. Only your performance at the SSB counts.
