How to Fill SSC CHSL 10+2 Online Form 2025

Step 1: One-Time Registration (OTR)

SSC now uses a new website (ssc.gov.in). Before applying for any exam, you must complete a one-time registration.

  1. Visit ssc.gov.in and click on “Login or Register” > “Register Now”.

  2. Personal Details: Enter your name, father’s name, Aadhaar number, and date of birth exactly as they appear on your Class 10 certificate.

  3. Contact Info: Provide a valid mobile number and email ID (both will be verified via OTP).

  4. Live Photo Capture: Unlike older versions where you uploaded a photo, the new system requires a live webcam photo. Ensure you are in a well-lit area with a plain background.

  5. Password: After submitting, you will receive a temporary password. Change it immediately to complete the OTR.

Step 2: Filling the Online Application

Once your OTR is ready, follow these steps during an active application window:

  1. Login: Use your Registration Number and new Password on the homepage.

  2. Select Exam: Under the “Live Examinations” tab, find “Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination” and click “Apply”.

  3. Pre-filled Data: Most details will be pulled from your OTR. Verify them carefully.

  4. Exam Centers: Choose three preferred exam cities in order of priority.

  5. Education: Enter your highest qualification and details of your 12th-standard (or equivalent) passing year and board.

  6. Upload Signature: Upload a scanned signature (JPEG/JPG format, 10 to 20 KB).
