Indian Army has officially invited online applications from unmarried male and female candidates (including Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel) for the NCC Special Entry Scheme 125th Course (Commencing in April 2026) for Grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army. Selection is conducted directly on the basis of graduation percentage and NCC ‘C’ Certificate grading through SSB Interview (No written exam). Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% aggregate marks. (Final year students are also eligible).
• NCC Certificate Requirement: Must possess NCC ‘C’ Certificate with minimum ‘A’ or ‘B’ grade in Senior Division / Wing. (Not mandatory for Wards of Battle Casualties).
• Age Limit: 19 to 25 Years (Candidate must meet the official birth date cut-off criteria specified in notification).
• Marital Status: Unmarried Male & Unmarried Female candidates.

• Shortlisting of Applications: Integrated HQ of Ministry of Defence (Army) reserves the right to fix cutoff percentage for shortlisting applications.
• SSB Interview (5 Days): Shortlisted candidates undergo Stage 1 & Stage 2 testing at Selection Centres (Allahabad, Bhopal, Bangalore, Kapurthala).
• Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by SSB undergo detailed medical fitness tests.
• Training Academy: Selected candidates undergo 49 weeks of military training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.
