Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications

• Junior Engineer (JE) / DMS: 3-Year Diploma OR B.E. / B.Tech Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, IT, or relevant Engineering branch from a recognized Board/University.
• Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA): Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with Physics and Chemistry with minimum 45% aggregate marks.
• Age Limit (as on 01/01/2027): 18 to 33 Years. (Age relaxation: OBC – 3 Years, SC/ST – 5 Years, PwBD – 10 Years as per Railway rules).

• 1st Stage CBT (Screening Test): 100 Objective Questions (Maths, Reasoning, General Awareness, General Science) — 90 Minutes duration.
• 2nd Stage CBT (Technical Paper): 150 Objective Questions focusing on Technical Abilities & Core Engineering Subjects — 120 Minutes duration.
• Document Verification (DV) & Medical Examination: Shortlisted candidates from CBT Stage 2 called for DV and Medical Fitness Test.
