Age Limit & Educational Qualification Criteria
1. Age Limit (As on Cut-off Date):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 28 Years
- Age Relaxation: 05 Years for SC/ST and 03 Years for OBC (NCL) as per Govt rules.
2. Qualification Wise Vacancy Breakdown:
- Trade Apprentice (ITI): 10th Passed + ITI NCVT/SCVT Certificate in relevant trade (Electrician, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Welder, COPA, Instrument Mechanic, etc.).
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Diploma in Engineering in relevant branch (Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Civil, Electronics, Chemical, etc.).
- Graduate Apprentice (Degree): B.E. / B.Tech in relevant branch of Engineering.
Selection Method
- Merit Shortlisting: Based on percentage/marks obtained in qualifying ITI, Diploma, or Degree examinations (No Exam/Interview).
- Document Verification (DV): Original certificates and identity check at SAIL Rourkela.
- Medical Fitness: Pre-engagement medical examination by RSP medical officer.
